Honor our Veterans
Gina Gray is an Iraq vet; served this great nation. Nevertheless, she was fired from her position at Arlington Cemetery, where she should be awarded a medal of honor. She has filed a lawsuit, claiming that her firing was the result of her role in exposing the horrendous situation at the cemetery.
Recent investigations have produced reports that suggest up to an estimated 6,600 graves have been improperly marked (many which are even unmarked). This number is up from an initial report of 211 cases (talk about margin of error). There are about 330,000 vets buried at the cemetery. (I’m gonna hold out on the final number of cases. You do what you want.)
After conducting a review, Army Inspector-General Steven Whitcomb stated there was “no evidence of deliberate wrongdoing”…*YAWN*… I would hope that a gang of military experts would be able to cover their tracks. It’s refreshing to know that the appearance of blatant incompetency isn’t viewed with the same level of disregard as deliberate wrongdoing; now, all we need to do is specialize in appearing to be stupid.
